TOWN CRIER RETIRES AFTER 28 YEARS

Mike Willett, the Town Crier for Victor Harbor in South Australia has decided to hang up the Tricorn and bell after 28 years as a Town Crier. Mike was first appointed as a Town Crier in the village of Gisborne in Victoria in 1998 and was then appointed as the Crier for the Shire of Macedon ranges. After moving to South Australia, He spent the last 15 years as the Crier for Victor Harbor. 

Mike will continue his links with the community by presenting on the community radio station 90.1 Happy FM.
